OVERVIEW

Vision Constructions were engaged by Charters Towers Regional Council for NDRRA restoration works within the area. These works involved the restoration of unsealed roads, gravel re-sheeting, formation grading, and installation of drainage structures and concrete causeways. All works were completed within council’s time constraints with zero incident occurring. Due to the nature of the project, all works were to be completed to main roads specifications which was done so successfully by Vision Constructions.  These sites were also located in some of the most remote sections of the Charters Towers Regional Council.

 

SCOPE

Some of the key constructional tasks within the project were;

• Clear and Grub,

• Bulk Earthworks,

• Detailed Excavations,

• Gravel re-sheeting,

• Formation Grading,

• Culvert Installations, and

• Concrete Causeway Installations.
