Flood Damage Restoration Works, Peninsula Development Road

OVERVIEW
As part of our strong working relationship with Roadtek, Vision successfully completed approx. 75km of Restoration works to the flood damaged Peninsula Development Road in 2009. This project began at Musgrave and extended approx. 90km to the north. Vision’s base camp was at Musgrave Roadhouse. This project consisted of the establishment of several gravel borrow pits along the alignment and the gravel was used for embankment construction and re-sheeting works. Each borrow pit was carefully rehabilitated prior to moving onto the next. Vision successfully utilised a large variety of material types including blends of materials to achieve the best project outcome.
